Post Race Info

Finish Area

The finish line for all events is located at Wilcox Green, next to Nairn Street, in the heart of Arrowtown. The Finish area will offer the full post-race experience; where you can relax, soak up the atmosphere, appreciate a well-earned massage, refuel, and enjoy celebrating your achievement with friends and family. Make a day of it enjoying the local flavours of the region, with plenty of delicious food stalls, beer, and entertainment; whilst cheering on other finishers throughout the day. A map of the Finish Village will be available closer to the event.

Info tent

There will be an Info Tent at the finish line area operating during the below times:

• 3:00pm – 7:00pm, Friday 4 March
• 9:00am – 7:00pm, Saturday 5 March
• 10:00am - 12:00pm, Sunday 6 March

Parking

Parking in Arrowtown is available at two locations for a gold coin donation to a local community group. Please refer to the map below for details, subject to change.

Prize Giving

Prize Giving Schedule

In the event of really bad weather, and the prize-giving not being able to take place, it will be cancelled, and there will be no postponement time scheduled. Contact [email protected] for further information.

Spot Prizes

All competitors will be eligible for the spot prize and this will be randomly drawn.  We have a range of spot prizes to giveaway from our wonderful Motatapu sponsors! All winners will be drawn at random and published on race day at the information desk at the Finish Line in Wilcox Green, Arrowtown and available on the Motatapu App.  If your race number is showing on the list, then head along to the information tent and show your race number to collect your prize. The information desk will be open from 9:00am until 8:00pm on race day for you to come along and claim your prize!

Prizes Awarded

47km UDC MOUNTAIN BIKE INDIVIDUAL

NZD$500.00 prize money will be awarded to the 1^st overall Male and Female.

Place getters (1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd) in each race category for both the Elite and Open divisions will receive an award at prize giving.

47km udc Mountain Bike TEAMS

Place getters (1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd)  in each race category for the Teams divisions will receive an award at prize giving.

42km Off-Road Marathon

NZD$500.00 prize money will be awarded to the 1^st overall Male and Female.

Place getters (1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd)  in each race category for the Off-Road Marathon will receive an award at prize giving.

15.7km Miners Trail

Place getters (1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd)  in each race category for the Miners Trail will receive an award at prize giving.

52.5km Ultra Run

NZD$500.00 prize money will be awarded to the 1^st overall Male and Female.

Place getters (1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd)  in each race category for the Ultra Run will receive an award at prize giving.

56km coronet loop mountain bike

NZD$500.00 prize money will be awarded to the 1^st overall Male and Female.
