5 Unique events in beautiful Motatapu, Queenstown New Zealand.

The XTERRA Triathlon is arguably one of the most challenging and rewarding off road triathlons in New Zealand. This triathlon rekindles the pioneer spirit by using the lay of the land to determine the course. Athletes can race as an Individual or in a Team of 2 or 3.

The course distance is equivalent to a half ironman and consists of a 2km Swim in Lake Wanaka, 47km Mountain Bike and a 8.5km Mountain Run. This is a demanding course while providing breath-taking scenery along the way.

Whether you are an established triathlete or need a goal to push yourself to the next level, this is for you. Test yourself, prove your grit and get OFF ROAD!

Team Tri Info

At both Transition points T1 and T2, team members must tag at their allocated area within the transition area, as marked by the team race number. It is very important that the timing transponder is transferred between team mates. Transition maps subject to change.
